The National Bank Of Bahrain (NBB) has renewed its Platinum Sponsorship of the Innovation Summit in the Social Housing Sector, the first edition of which takes place at Exhibition World Bahrain until the 3rd of October under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. NBB Social Housing Innovation Summit
Organized by the Housing And Urban Planning Ministry in partnership with Eskan Bank, the event gathers industry stakeholders working on expanding access to social homeownership throughout the Kingdom.
NBB’s continued backing reflects a broader push by Bahraini financial institutions to align private-sector resources with state housing policy.
At the summit, NBB has set up a dedicated booth where eligible citizens can review financing options tied to government-backed schemes, among them Mazaya, Mazaya 2.0, Joint Housing Finance, Tas’heel and Tas’heel+.
The bank is offering loan terms stretching up to 30 years, preferential interest pricing, free fire insurance, and a simplified application process spanning all five programmes.
Representatives will be available throughout the event to walk applicants through eligibility criteria, offer tailored advice, and issue instant preliminary approvals — a feature aimed at cutting down the wait typically associated with mortgage financing in the public housing sector.
As an added incentive, the first ten attendees who finalise a booking for an NBB social housing finance product during the summit will receive a special gift.
The bank said its participation reflects a broader commitment to national housing initiatives designed to widen homeownership opportunities for Bahraini families, and it encouraged summit visitors to stop by its stand to review the available packages in person.
The event forms part of continuing efforts by Bahrain’s government and banking sector to address demand for affordable housing, an issue that has drawn growing public attention amid rising living costs across the kingdom. Bahrain Economy
