Filipino women’s group Pinay Ikaw Na (PIN) celebrated International Friendship Day by hosting its Bowling Tournament for a Cause, bringing together members of the community for a day of friendly competition.
Held at Funland Centre’s Bowling Alley in Manama, the tournament brought together 18 teams from various Filipino associations.
PIN president Dinah Ana welcomed the teams and guests, while Filipino Ambassador Gines Jaime Gallaga praised the organisation for promoting sportsmanship and strengthening partnerships.

The tournament concluded with an awards ceremony, where the Philippine Nurses Association of Bahrain was crowned champions. The Pin Pals finished as first runners-up, followed by the Knights of Rizal Gold Team in third place, while the Pinky Bakal Boyz received the best in uniform award in recognition of their team spirit and creativity.
Individual awards were also presented to outstanding bowlers.
